Today, I am excited to announce that Lima One Capital, the premier lender for residential real estate borrowers, is acquiring the RealtyShares residential debt origination business.
Lima One began partnering with RealtyShares as an institutional investor earlier this year and has been consistently impressed by the quality of deals on our platform and the strong reputation we’ve built within the industry as a fast and flexible source of capital for experienced residential developers. Our individual and institutional investors have deployed more than $200 million across over 720 residential deals, providing exceptional service to those seeking financing.
While we’ve built an incredibly strong business originating single family residential loans, our focus over the past year has been on scaling our full-stack capital solutions across multifamily, office, retail, industrial, and other commercial assets.
After working closely together with Lima One over the past year, both companies saw an opportunity to deepen their areas of focus. Lima One has an impressive track record as a premier lender for residential real estate projects, while RealtyShares has seen breakaway success in financing commercial and equity projects, deploying $242 million across more than 120 deals, worth over $1 billion* in the last year alone. We will continue to provide our investors with quality residential deals that meet our rigid standards through our partnership with Lima One, while dedicating our resources toward expanding the breadth and depth of our commercial financing solutions.

Going forward, Lima One will become our preferred lender for residential debt. Our partnership will allow us to continue to provide borrowers with a reliable capital source for their projects.
